The real price of GOLD

jewelleryfairtrade5.4 million people have died mining gold since 1998. The killers own the gold mines of the Congo. Workers can spend up to six days underground at a time collecting the gold rocks. They are being poisoned by mercury as they process the gold. That gold is sold in western shops as jewellery. In refugee camps eight out of ten women have been raped.
